In my Garden.../ Dans mon jardin... Un Tag, et une bonne fête à toutes les mamans

Bonjour !! Hello!!

Merci à toutes celles qui m'ont laissé un petit mot sur mes arches et les nouveaux tampons de la marque Crafty Individuals. Au passage, si cela vous intéresse vous pouvez déjà voir quelques exemples sur le blog CI ici, ils ont été faits par ma collègue de la DT Lynne que j'apprécie beaucoup et salue bien amicalement...  

Avant de vous souhaiter un bon dimanche de fête des mères, je partage avec vous un tag assez estival sur le thème du jardin. Un tag plein d'insectes pour faire plaisir à mon petit neveu Siméo qui nourrit une vraie passion pour toutes ces petites bêtes mmm :).... et dont c'était l'anniversaire récemment. J'avais craqué sur cette planche de tampons Artistic Stamper en pensant à lui. Je pense qu'il l'a bien reçu maintenant, donc je peux vous le montrer, chic! ^^

I'm really looking forward to have a try myself with them also, I've just mounted them on EZ mount foam just received for that.   

Before showing you something with the new stamps, I'm sharing today a rather summery tag full of garden insects, offered to my nephew to celebrate his birthday. He has a passion for insects, so I bought this set of 'Insects' from Artistic Stamper thinking to him (at least a little haha, as I love this plate too!! :o)) Therefore, my tag was stamped using a combination of Artistic Stamper, Crafty Individuals and Katzelkraft stamps (for the quotes) on the theme of Garden and Insects. It will maybe allow the sun to come back lol... it would be great for our Mother's Day here in France!... 

Voici mon tag, je ne me souviens plus de la taille exacte en centimètres, mais il est assez assez grand. J'ai utilisé un tag américain Manila de Taille 10. Here's my large tag (size 10), quite simple but effective I think.   

Pour faire mon tag, j'ai d'abord passé une couche de Gesso. Une fois sec je l'ai encré aux encres Distress déposées sur ma feuille Teflon au préalable (avec quelques gouttes d'eau), dans les tons verts en bas, rose-marron clair au milieu et bleus en haut, en tamponnant un peu mon tag aussi directement sur ma craft sheet. Ensuite je me suis amusée assez librement avec mes tampons... Les papillons et insectes sont des tampons The Artistic Stamper, et le décor du bas tamponné en vert foncé est un tampon de chez Crafty Individuals que j'aime beaucoup. J'ai utilisé mes encres Archival, parmi les anciennes ou celles de la nouvelle collection, selon les teintes dont j'avais envie. J'ai masqué quelques papillons pour tamponner d'autres insectes par dessus, et le petit escargot seul a été tamponné, colorié (aux markers Distress) et détouré sur une chute de papier silk de chez Crafty Individuals, puis collé tout en bas de ma scènette. Quelques touches de gel pailleté jaune et transparent pour finir, et voilà! Je l'ai collé sur un carton épais aux mêmes dimensions pour qu'il soit plus résistant. Un tag assez simple à faire et assez joli, qu'en pensez-vous??

To do my tag, I have painted a light coat of Gesso on it first, then I have coloured it by sponging on several Distress inks (after spraying some water onto my craft sheet), starting with green colours at the bottom, pale rose and brown shades in the middle and blues at the top, and allowing them to blend a bit... After that, I have played a lot with my stamps and my Archival inks (either old ones or from the new collection depending on the colour I wished). I have masked some butterflies to stamp other insects over them. The snail has been stamped on a scrap of silk cream paper by Crafty Individuals, coloured with Distress markers, fussy cut and glued at the bottom. For the final touch, I have added Distress Stickles on the dragonflies wings in yellow, and also on the butterflies using Rock Candy stickles instead, but not everywhere for a more delicate composition. I have finally glued it on thick greyboard cut to the same size to be more resistant. Et voilà!

Pour le fond/For the background: White Gesso, Distress inks, Vaporisateur d'eau/Spray with water

Archival inks Potting Soil, Tree Branch, Hydrangea, Cornflower Blue, Orange Blossom, Library Green, Red Geranium

Fine black embossing powder, Versamark

Distress markers (Pumice Stone, Tea Dye and Walnut Stain)

Tim Holtz Jute twine, Distress Stickles (Rock Candy, yellow)
