PaperArtsy Topic 8 Sprays challenge.. Canvas + tutorial

Bienvenue sur mon blog, et à mon ou ma nouvelle abonnée en particulier. N'hésitez pas à vous faire connaître!
J'espère que vous passez tous un bon week-end du 8 mai... Pour ma part je ne suis pas très forme, j'ai attrapé un mauvais virus qui me cloue au lit depuis 2 jours, et j'ai les oreilles qui bourdonnent ce qui n'est pas très bon signe, donc je vais tenter de faire un post assez rapide même si je voulais vous proposer un tutoriel complet initialement sur cette réa. Vous l'aurez quand même en images, mais je vais raccourcir mon discours...
Je fais vite, car cette réa (une petite scène montée sur canvas que j'ai eu énormément de plaisir à faire, j'espère que vous aimerez aussi!!) participe au challenge en cours jusqu'à demain sur le blog Paper Artsy sur le thème des Sprays.. Désolé de mon peu de présence encore sur vos blogs ou ailleurs en ce moment, outre ma petite forme j'ai des choses à régler qui m'occupent pas mal en ce moment, en plus de mon job de DT et de ma petite famille... Cette situation risque de durer encore un peu, merci de vous montrer patientes, je ne vous oublie pas. Je n'oublie pas non plus les copines qui m'ont gâtées pour mon anniversaire, je montrerai dès demain si je peux tout ce que j'ai reçu!
Avec cette réa, je participe aussi au challenge mensuel de mai de l'Antre Scrap.
En mai, on retourne au jardin...

j'ai choisi de m'inspirer des couleurs rouge-rouille et verte, même si au final la couleur bleue semble prédominer snif... Mais le vert reste très présent sur mon fond.

It's lovely of you to visit me today despite I'm still strugging with time and pay you sparse visits on your blogs in this moment... also less and less present on FB to chat with my internet friends. It's just a period of my life very difficult, overwhelmed, with important decisions to take for me. And I've also stayed in my bed for 2 days because I caught a noisy viruses.. Looks like a hard period of time for me, but my desire of creating never leaves me!!
So Thank you for being patient with me, and remain supportive if you think you would like to as I do not forget you, you stay in my heart and feelings. I do not forget either the lovely friends who have spoiled me for my birthday, will try to do a dedicated post as soon as tomorrow if I can!
Before going back to bed, I want to share with you a whimsical scene, it is mounted on a canvas, as the deadline of the challenge for which I created it is coming to a close. The new theme over on the Paper Artsy Challenge blog is Sprays. I'm entering this canvas into the the challenge.
Initially wanted to do a detailed tutorial on this one, but I will try to keep the wording short. Moreover I used so many materials that it becomes hard to give you the full list each time, I may have forgotten some of them in my list at the end of my post.

Je vais vous montrer les photos des différentes étapes.
I'll show some photos of the different stages.
I started out by spreading on the whole paper some thickener prepared the day before. When dry, I dry-brushed Aquawax over two JOFY stencils to make a resist. It's another of those projects that started in one direction and ended up somewhere else, but probably all the better... :) I had really no precise idea at the beginning, except I wanted a good play time. The colours on the background (I started with a large smooth watercolour paper) are made with Brushos, sprayed straight onto paper and then removed at some areas using paper towel.
J'ai étalé sur toute ma feuille un produit spécial qui s'appelle "Thickener" (un mélange à préparer la veille), qui permet de renforcer les couleurs et de les faire durer.Une fois sec, j'ai appliqué de l'Aquawax sur les fleurs de 2 pochoirs JOFY (pour une technique resist).
Then I diluted with water a few pinches of two of my favourite Brushos (Scarlett and Emerald Green) to get two Sprays.
J'ai utilisé 2 couleurs de Brushos, je les ai diluées à l'eau.
And sprayed them largely!!
Et vaporisées largement, en essuyant le trop-plein avec du saupalin.
I spritzed again and again... Adding a spritz of Tarnished Brass Distress stain too for a little golden touch. Using the heat gun between layers.
J'ai continué à pshitter ma feuille encore et encore... J'ai rajouté un peu de Tarnished Brass Distress Stain pour une petite touche dorée. Bien sêcher entre chaque couche.
Here's the intermediate result... not so bad, but I was not totally satisfied.. ^^
So I decided to paint my page with watery Little black dress paint, wiping off quickly some areas next. Then I added at the top some Interference Green paint and a bit of two new metallic 3D paints from Stamperia.
Bon, c'est déjà pas mal là, non?... Et bien pas question de m'arrêter en si bon chemin.. ^^
J'ai peint le tout en noir, et vite, vite, retiré le maximum de peinture... Puis j'ai mis en lumière quelques zones dans la partie supérieure en jouant avec 2 nouvelles peintures métallisées de chez Stamperia, qui contiennent des billes pour un effet 3D (que je n'ai pas obtenu, mais les couleurs sont superbes et je réitérerai!!!)

Je vous montre le résultat en grand, mais vous devez pouvoir encore agrandir ces photos en cliquant sur les images, en génaral ça marche sauf parfois, quand canalblog nous joue ses mauvais tours...
Then, I stamped in Black Archival ink on another sheet of paper a lot of fabulous flowers and leaves from JOFY sets 21, 24 and 33, as well as the lovely Eclectica EM12 two times. My paper had been roughly painted with several new PA paints bought in VS this year, it was my first try on them and wow!
Ensuite, j'ai tamponné en noir sur une feuille grossièrement peinte de couleurs contrastées pas mal de mes tampons JOFY et le petit zoziau EM12...

After many layers of paints, touches of permanent pens and more color if needed, fussy cut out leaves and grass (I love fussy cutting, it's a relaxing activity for me) below is the finished canvas. First some close ups, you will note maybe that Wilbur the Chicken King, my little bird, is walking through the frame... Hahaha!!!
Pour finir j'ai détouré tous mes tampons, j'en ai accentué les couleurs si nécessaire et retouché les bords aux feutres fins. Je les ai collés sur mon décor, et trouvé dans mon stock (chouette, trop contente...!!) un canvas aux bonnes dimensions, que j'ai peint en noir et sur lequel j'ai marouflé mon panneau décoré...

- J'adore ! Le résultat est bluffant ! Moi en voyant les premiers résultats j'aurais tout jeté, maintenant je vais essayer de garder un peu plus, on peut toujours améliorer le résultat !! Bisous

I just LOVE your Chicken King Wilbur!! I completely love this gorgeous canvas with Wilbur having a travel through the flowers I LOVE him The background you created is beautiful! I love how you started your layering with Brushos, then toned down with black paint and green interference! Sooo pretty Is there a shimmer with using the green interference? And Wilbur, strolling through all of those pretty flowers and leaves! He surely is the King in this scene!! Just fabulous!! Feel better soon!! XOXO-Shari
- It's a fantastic layered canvas, Coco - with a background full of drama and a foreground full of humour - lovely! I'm sorry to hear you've been unwell in the midst of having all these difficult decisions (but that's probably why you got unwell!). I've been going through something similar, so I absolutely understand - and you'll notice I've been very absent too... so let's just forgive each other, shall we?!
Do hope you are feeling a little better now, and that you are starting to see the way forward from here.

J'ai vraiment les boules de ne pas te visiter plus souvent mais je n'y arrive pas tant j'ai à faire, même si toi tu en as dix fois plus, je traine .......voui, voui, je suis lente et flemmarde, maladie aïgue ..............
Comme c'est somptueux, quelles superbes techniques, j'vais faire une liste de choses à acheter pour tenter de si belles choses...
