Un petit tableau de Noël "L'étoile de Sandra" / A christmas trees canvas - DT Crafty Individuals

Hello and welcome!

Christmas is around the corner and I want to show you a 'Winter magic' creation before the festive season has ended hopefully! Snow always comes to mind when I think of 'Winter Magic', so here's my snowy scene as an offering to celebrate the spirit of winter. 

This one is dear to my heart... It was started after I lost my wonderful friend Sandra. For this reason it is titled 'Sandra's star'... It can not be easily seen on your screen I guess, but the biggest star is much more shiny than the others.. I hope you like my canvas whatever your reasons are, not the same as me of course.

Bonjour ! Après une journée complète d'ateliers hier, bien chargée et riche en nouvelles rencontres (super, c'était bien !!!), je reviens enfin vous montrer un tableau de Noël que j'ai eu énormément de plaisir à créer, cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas fait un canvas... J'espère que vous aimerez cette scène et ce paysage d'hiver que j'ai créé en pensant très fort à mon amie Sandra. Je l'ai appelé "L'étoile de Sandra"... Cela ne se voit pas trop à l'écran, mais la plus grosse étoile est beaucoup plus brillante. 

I made this by playing with stencils - especially one offered by my friend Gio that you can see better next here - stamps and stencils from Crafty Individuals, some pastes and fluid paints by DecoArt, and various glitters of course!! (Even if I'm not a crazy girl about glitter in a normal way to tell you the truth haha.. but Christmas is a special occasion)

Je l'ai réalisé en jouant avec des pochoirs - dont un offert par mon amie Gio que vous verrez mieux ensuite - des tampons et masks de chez Crafty Individuals, mes pâtes de texture et peintures fluides DecoArt, et des paillettes bien sûr !! (Ben oui, c'est quand même NOWEL hein, même si je ne suis pas une folle de paillettes en vrai...)

This adorable deer is CI-332, it is called 'Rudolf Snowflake'. 

 Cet adorable cerf s'appelle Rudolf... c'est le tampon CI-332.

Here two lovely die-cuts by Kesi'Art, just painted a bit... Thanks to my little girl Salomé who advised me to do it! :)

 Ici deux petites découpes Kesi'Art que j'ai peintes... sur les conseils de ma petite Salomé! :)

Sharing with you below a few photos of my creative process.. Not very beautiful at start as you can see! :D It needs many layers and a bit of patience...

Et je vous offre quelques photos intermédiaires qui permettent de se rendre compte qu'un tableau comme celui-ci n'est pas forcément beau dès le départ !!! :D  C'est un travail par couches qui demande un peu de temps et de patience...  

 I used the very beautiful large leaf stencil made by my friend Giovanna Zara, here the link on her shop. She has made several wonderful designs, I really love them all. I will show you soon some other samples featuring her stencils!

Vous voyez ici ce très beau pochoir de grande feuille que vous pourrez trouver ICI dans la boutique de Giovanna Zara. Je vous montrerai bientôt d'autres exemples avec les pochoirs de Gio, je les adore!

On the photo above you can see the other masks & stencils I used combined to the leaf stencil: the beautiful 'Starry Christmas Tree' (Crafty Individuals), and the small Dinky stencil 'Star Shower' (That's Crafty)... By the way you can also admire the crackle texture I got after I applying my Decoart media Crackle paste.

Sur cette photo on voit bien les autres pochoirs et masque que j'ai utilisés: le beau sapin arabesque Starry Christmas Tree' (Crafty Individuals) et le petit pochoir étoiles Dinky stencil 'Star Shower' (That's Crafty)... Vous pouvez aussi admirer au passage le superbe craquelé obtenu après application de la pâte de texture craquelée Decoart media Crackle paste.

 Here's how I started to integrate the gorgeous new CI-462 'Large Christmas Tree'... using tissue paper first, then stamped directly by hand several times.

Ici on voit bien aussi comment j'ai commencé à travailler et intégrer mes sapins.. J'ai d'abord utilisé du papier de soie, puis je les ai tamponnés directement plusieurs fois directement à la main.

Hope you like, it makes a nice change from Christmas cards!
