Dico challenge du Craft Barn (lettre A) et Stampotique challenge SDC98: "Pink and Turquoise"

Bonsoir !

J'espère que vous avez toutes passé un bon week-end, avec du soleil dans l'ensemble... C'était le cas chez moi, du coup j'ai pu commencer à désherber mon jardin qui en a le plus grand besoin !!  

Vite, vite, avant que le week-end ne se termine et que je sois de nouveau happée par le boulot et le quotidien, voici une petite page d'AJ faite quelques minutes par ci par là certains soirs de cette semaine (bien chargée puisque j'ai eu la joie de recevoir de la famille), juste pour le plaisir !!!

Je l'ai faite pour le challenge dictionnaire proposé par Izzy sur le Craft Barn, la lettre "A". C'est dommage car j'ai loupé les deux lettres précédentes, mais je pense les refaire plus tard petit à petit, car c'est vraiment une bonne idée ce dictionnaire altéré ! J'ai choisi le mot "Artful" qui veut dire "astucieux", mais aussi "artistique". Pour le fond, j'ai principalement travaillé avec mes peintures Fresco Paints, quelques feutres (noir, blanc, et jaune safran), et d'autres petites choses. 

Hi everyone, hope your weekend was going well... It was the case for me, and as the sun was miracuslously present I started cleaning my Garden that really needs weeding !

Before starting again a new week full of work and daily reality, I show you quickly my last AJ page. It's a new letter for the Alpha Challenge at the Craft Barn blog and this fortnight the letter is A. I was really happy to do it, using some new stamps for the first time, and my Fresco Finish paints mainly for the background. I chose the word "Artful", and illustrated it by representing Artful Blooms.

Egalement, elle participe au dernier challenge de mon blog chouchou Stampotique Designers challenge, un combo de rose et de turquoise proposé par Polly. Comme ce sont deux couleurs que j'aime, j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à le faire.

I also enter it in my favorite Stampotique Designers challenge blog, Polly is the hostess this time and she says: "".... so break out the pinks, turquoises and not forgetting a splash of black and white and join in with this weeks challenge" ! 
I love these two colors, so I had great fun to follow her combo.

J'ai puisé mon inspiration dans mes nouveaux tampons, une planche Eclectica de Lin Brown (ELB03 PaperArtsy) et une planche Stamper Anonymous dont je rêvais et qui m'a été offerte par mon amie Sandra, quel cadeau extra (!!!..)  C'est le texte que j'ai inclus sur ma réa d'aujourd'hui, il est génial je trouve: “We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing”. 

J'ai cherché un peu sur le net, c'est une citation de George Bernard Shaw, un critique et dramaturge irlandais qui a reçu le prix Nobel de littérature en 1925.  

J'ai aussi choisi ce petit tampon Stampotique que j'adore dans sa simplicité: Moon Girl. Pour finir, j'ai découpé à la big shot des tulipes (dies Memory Box), et je les ai encrées sur le bords à l'encre distress rose après les avoir tamponné de texte (Mini MN74 de PaperArtsy). 

I took my inspiration in my new stamps, an Eclectica set from Lin Brown (ELB03) and a set from Stamper Anonymous offered by my friend Sandra, what a great gift !!!  I used the text “We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing” on my AJ page, it's a quoite from an irish critic and playwright named George Bernard Shaw who received the Nobel prize in 1925. I'm sure you know him Nicola... isn't it ?  

I also stamped Moon Girl that I love for its simplicity on a piece of tissue paper, then I glued it on the left side of my page after having painted it on the reverse side. I used Satin Glaze on both sides of the tissue paper to do it. 
The additional blooms are Memory box die-cuts that I distressed with Picked Raspberry on the edges, after stamping on it some beautiful text using the same color (for the text I used MN74 from PaperArtsy). 

Et voilà ! J'aime bien cette petite page d'AJ, et vous, qu'en pensez-vous ??
Et voila ! I rather like my AJ page...  You, what do you think ??
