Garden of Eden / Jardin d'Eden... Une page et une nouvelle publication !

Hi everyone!

First I thought I was going to be back earlier here, but no... looks like I'm out of the shape at the moment, and so busy with Christmas around the corner and all the coming classes, so it's getting hard to catch-up with my blog and blogland! :)
Je pensais revenir plus tôt !! Mais non... Et encore aujourd'hui, je me dépêche, j'essaie de rattraper comme je peux un peu de mon retard, mais Noël approche à grands pas, pas la grande forme en plus.. donc difficile de tenir mon blog à jour !
Merci en tout cas à toutes les personnes qui prennent encore le temps de me déposer un message, alors que je reste silencieuse. J'espère pouvoir libérer un peu de temps pour visiter quelques blogs, ou répondre à certaines dans les jours qui viennent. 

This morninig I show you a large Art Journal page made some time ago... I started with an A3-size watercolour sheet, with a messy painted background over it that I really didn't like (another proof that you don't have to throw away anything lol). I then added a bit of stenciling ('4 flowers' TCW327 from Balzer Designs) and some lovely Rubber Dance 'Textured Flowers', finally an adorable girl from the Whimsy Girls series designed by Trish Latimer (here 'Girl two'). The little snail is a freebie digi from Craft Stamper, so I naturally shared this page with the magazine, and I'm very honoured to be published in the december issue, you can find it here. I'm in page 48, in the Café Chat feature! 
Ce matin, je vous montre une grande page d'Art Journal (faite sur une page aquarelle A3) qui me vaut le privilège d'être une seconde fois publiée ce mois-ci!! Cette fois c'est Trish Latimer qui m'a fait l'honneur de me publier dans sa rubrique Café Chat de Craft Stamper, en page 48. 

J'ai utilisé des tampons fleurs de Rubber Dance, La 'Girl two' de Trish Latimer, un pochoir 'four flowers' de TCW, et pour la petite poire par contre, désolée mais je ne me souviens plus... Le petit escargot était un freebie du magazine, j'ai donc partagé tout naturellement ma réa avec le magazine.  

Je m'autorise à vous la montrer en totalité cette fois-ci, car elle n'est pas dans les pages régulières.

To tell you the truth, this is the first time that I was working with a digi stamp! Lol. I followed the way of Trish through one of her tutorials in CS, covering the resized image with clear Gesso before painting it. We don't ever see the difference, it's pretty good. I was very happy with my first play with digis, I will do it again for sure! :o)  

Regardez ce petit escargot... je le trouve vraiment trop chou pas vous?!.. 
A la vérité, c'était la première fois que j'utilisais un digi et que je l'intégrais sur une page d'AJ... Même si je reste accro aux vrais tampons, J'ai bien aimé essayer, et j'ai trouvé le résultat tout à fait satisfaisant. J'ai suivi la méthode de Trish Latimer, je l'ai recouvert de Gesso transparent après impression sur un papier assez fort, avant de le peindre. ça a très bien marché, on ne voit pas la différence avec une image tamponnée, je vous recommande d'essayer ! 

Une petite scènette poétique sans prétention, mais qui m'a bien plu et fait un peu rêver ! 

Voilà, vous pouvez retrouver cette page dans la revue Craft Stamper de décembre si vous y êtes abonnée. Pour ma part je m'étais bien amusée à la faire ! J'étais parti d'un fond plutôt "caca beurk" au départ... Comme quoi, il ne faut rien jeter !!! :D

 I really enjoyed creating this little scene, this is a poetic vision of the Garden of Eden! :)
