Tout d'abord merci encore à toutes celles qui me laissent des messages sur mes ateliers, même si vous ne pouvez vous déplacer jusqu'à moi, j'apprécie beaucoup vos encouragements.
Voilà, nous sommes déjà en Mars, et qui dit nouveau mois dit nouveau challenge chez Crafty Individuals !
Le thème en est "TOUTES SORTES DE BOITES", c'est mon amie et collègue DT Sylvie (Nefertiti) qui l'a choisi pour vous, et elle l'a illustré divinement avec une boîte de son cru !!!! Si vous aimez ces tampons je vous encourage vraiment à faire un saut sur son post. Vous verrez, ce qu'elle a créé est très chouette...
Pour participer, il suffit que vous utilisiez au moins un tampon Crafty Individuals sur votre réa. Pour ma part, j'ai créé pour illustrer ce thème deux boîtes, dans des styles très différents. Celles qui me suivent savent que j'adore décorer des boîtes, donc ça n'a pas été très difficile de me prêter au jeu !! Je vous montre la première des deux pour commencer... J'ai fait un petit tuto en images qui vous montre les principales étapes et produits utilisés.

Topic for the March challenge, chosen by my friend and team-mate Sylvie, is called ‘Boxes of all sorts’, which is a fun idea! I hope it will inspire you to join in the challenge. So use any of their stamps on your project, upload it and you have the chance to win a stamp of your choice if you are among the 5 winners chosen by Sylvie at the end of the challenge. I made two different samples to illustrate this theme, but Jean has not shown any of them yet on her blog... so better to share only one today, maybe the little box to start... you will wait a few days more to see the other one in a next post, though you can already have a sneak peek in my step-by-step pictures! 
However please have a look on the first set of samples already shared on CI's blog to inspire you... they are really wonderful.
Pour cette réa, j'ai utilisé une petite boîte en bois (taille 8 x 6 x 4 cm), elle existe aussi en dimensions plus larges d'environ 10 cm.
Je me suis servie de mon pochoir 'Leafy Border' pour créer une jolie texture tout autour de ma boîte, et le magnifique motif oiseau et fleurs que vous voyez sur le dessus vient du tampon CI-357.
Pour finir, j'ai ajouté deux petits coins en métal offerts par Athena, et de la dentelle fine trouvée en boutique.
This little wooden box comes from Crafty Ind. shop. It measures 8 x 6 x 4 cm. Note that the same box can be also found in largest proportions (90 x 90 x 50 cm). For my part, I love both sizes, you can decorate and use them differently so well worth having the two in your stash!
I used my 'Leafy Border' stencil to add a beautiful texture all around the box, and stamped part of the wonderful CI-357 on the lid by direct application. I also added Fine cream cotton cluny lace to decorate the edges.

J'ai joué avec un mélange de peintures Abstract Acrylic Sennelier, et de peintures Silk Acrylic Glaze de ColourArte!
It was base coated with Gesso, and white paint and then a quick wash of blue. I then had fun to paint and decorate it with a mix of Abstract Acrylic paints (by Sennelier), and my Silk Acrylic Glaze paints from ColourArte..

- C'est un tres belle boite! I adore that little birdie imae too! You are so talented and make it look so easy! I did not realisie that you work left-handed either! Never apologise for being able to blog hop etc. Priorities in life change and also do circumstances, sometimes just for a season. We all have them,we all understand. Just make sure that you and your family come first, your jobsecndand your blog friends somewhere down the list. We will still be there! Bon weekend mon amie! xx
